    Loretta's Yogurt Pound Cake
Ingredients

3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 cup butter
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 8-oz. carton plain low fat yogurt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 Tbls. vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with yogurt, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 75 to 80 minutes or until cake tests done.
